Richard Adams (1957-)
London born artist, Richard Adams, is now painting in Auckland. An abstract painter, Adams’ work is finely balanced, with pared back surfaces, scraped away to reveal hidden layers. His minimalistic panels of vertical and horizontal plains are inspired by the subtle colours, radiant horizons and fine geometry of landscapes he encounters.
Gennie de Lange (1942-)
Gennie de Lange studied industrial design, illustration and painting at Wellington Polytechnic from 1958 to 1960, before moving to London in 1963 and studying at the Hammersmith School of Art.
