Jody Hope Gibbons
Jody Hope Gibbons is a Northland based artist. She has a background in design however her painting she has developed largely with experimentation of a range of techniques over time. Gibbons' art practise explores colour, gesture, layering and light effects resulting in often large colourful works. She works in a mixture of media incorporating various materials, acrylic, oil paint, enamel, rust, inks, leaf and varnish to achieve a level of depth and abstraction in her work.
